  1. ULTRASOUND MIDI JUKEBOX PLAYER

  5. Thank you for taking time to read this file.  I would first like to tell you
  6. that this is *NOT* a MIDI player... it is simply a front-end to the PLAYMIDI
  7. program that came with your Gravis Ultrasound.
  8.  
  9. To use this program, you must first run SETUP.  This will allow you to tell
  10. JUKEBOX where to find PLAYMIDI.EXE on your computer, as well as your directory
  11. for all of your MIDI files.
  12.  
  13. Note:  The current version (1.0) only supports ONE directory for MIDIs.
  14.  
  15. Once you have run SETUP, all you need to do is type JUKEBOX - you'll be off
  16. and running!  To cycle through MIDIs, just press ENTER.  To exit, you'll
  17. need to press ESC two times in a row *after* the song has started to play.
  18. This is due to a problem with the way PLAYMIDI exits back to DOS.

  20. Future versions may fix this problem.  Another option I am going to create
  21. is the ability to turn the graphic display on, or off.  This will be done
  22. through the SETUP program as well.  As it is, JUKEBOX makes a nice screen
  23. saver, as its display moves after each song it plays.
